Xiao-Ning Zeng, MD, PhD

Dr. Zeng’s medical education started in Nanjing Medical University (NMU), and led her over Nanjing to Shanghai for practice training. She got her clinical medical degree in 2003 and her research interest in pharmacology prompted an additional dwell in Nanjing supported by Fei Xiaotong research fellowship and a postgraduate award. In 2008, she earned her Ph.D. and by far has published more than 50 peer reviewed papers in related fields as well as several books on her research interests. Till now, she has patented several ideas for her further work.

Currently Dr. Zeng is a research scholar, associate professor, and group leader of State Key Laboratory of Respiratory Medicine in the First Affiliated Hospital of NMU. Serving as a member of European Respiratory Society, Chinese Medical Association, and Society of Immunology, she is a peer reviewer of the National Natural Science Foundation and dozens of SCI journals, as well as a principal investigator of several projects. Her research interests include chronic airway disease and pulmonary vascular disorder, particularly focus on neuroendocrine-immune network and pharmacotherapeutics.

Her research interests are laboratory medicine in critical care management.
