Jordi Ordonez-Llanos

Jordi Ordonez-Llanos graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the Medicine School of the Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona (UAB), Spain in the year 1975. Between 1976 and 1980 he developed the fellowship in Clinical Biochemistry at the Hospital de la Santa Cruz y San Pablo (HSCSP) in Barcelona, Spain. In 1987, he obtained his Ph.D. at the UAB after developing a three-year learning program and a doctoral thesis. Dr. Ordonez-Llanos has developed most of his professional career at HSCSP where he is currently Senior Consultant in Clinical Biochemistry. Additionally, he is Full Professor of Clinical Biochemistry at the UAB since 2005. Since the year 2004, he serves as member, chair or consultant in the Committees of the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry dealing with cardiac markers

Dr. Ordonez-Llanos research is currently focused on biomarkers of cardiac risk and diseases and he has authored more than 200 papers in Science Citation indexed (SCI) journals. He also reviews for more than 20 SCI journals.
